Every Cloud Runs Out of Rain

We’ve recently had some rainy days where I live. While I know that we need the rain, it’s always a bummer when you have plans and then look out your window to see the clouds forming and the saturated ground.

The rain we’ve been having reminds me of a quote I once heard: Every storm runs out of rain.

It can’t possibly rain every single day, forever, indefinitely. At some point, the sun is going to come back out and we’ll all dry out.

And this quote isn’t just about the weather. It’s about work and life too.

Sometimes projects are hard – but they won’t be hard forever. Things will get better and that proverbial sun will shine once again.

There are times when we have strained relationships with family or friends. But that rough patch won’t last forever, there’s sunshine coming our way.

When you look up and see clouds, remember, this storm will run out of rain and the sunshine is coming.
