Do you have a hidden talent? Can you play piano, take awesome photos, or maybe you tell great stories? Or maybe it’s not a specific talent, but you have a message or a passion you want to share with everyone.
If you answered yes to those questions, what is keeping you from sharing your talent or passion?
One of my favorite authors, Jon Gordon, recently shared some thoughts on this. In a social media post he mused:
If you have a talent or message in your heart, the world is waiting for you to share it. Don't let fear stop you. Don't wait for someone to tell you that you are worthy. Just start sharing. You have it for a reason.
So, what are you waiting for? Give yourself permission to share your talent or message! Like Jon says, you have these thoughts or gifts for a reason. They don’t do anyone any good if they aren’t being shared!
In today’s world, we have more avenues than ever to reveal our gifts and ideas. Share a Facebook Live of you painting a picture, write a blog post about a unique point of view you have, or put up an Instagram about your quarantine bread making adventures! You never know what connections you’ll make or the talents you can develop until you start sharing.
